If you’ve ever been on a good ledge fishing bite, you know how “fast and furious” it can be. You can imagine how awesome it would be on a Mexican ledge!
Imagine for a moment, Attorney General Eric Holder fishing a fast and furious ledge on a trophy Mexican border lake, catching bass that are in a drug-induced feeding frenzy! Whoa. I’m gonna run for the border right now to join that despicable bum.
Alright, that may have gone over some people’s heads, so let me get back on track. That’s just for experimental analytics purposes, folks…
When the crankbait bite on the ledge dies, what do you reach for? A Texas rig worm? A shaky head? Cody Meyer shows us two lures he relies on to do a little cleaning up after the cranking bite slows. I’m especially intrigued by his hairy second choice, as I’ve yet to develop a whole lot of confidence in that one with my own fishing. It sure does look like a cute little fur ball, though. I want to pet and preen it. Maybe even put a little pink collar around it.
Fish Strong!
