GearStrong | Powell Endurance 775FLIP

I bought the Powell Endurance 775FLIP a few months now.  No doubt about it, Powell got it right with this purple-powered man stick.  Just holding it in your hand exudes a kind of “real men wear pink” confidence… the kind that wouldn’t be possible if it not for the rock solid performance backing it up.

Go ahead… don’t be scared.  Flip it in there.  At 7’7″ worth of leverage, heaving the big girls out of thick cover is not only less risky, but flat out fun!  Go ahead and lean into it. This rod can handle it.  You want to boat flip 5 pounders like pre-pubescent buck bass? No problem.  This rod has plenty of meat for when you feel like jerking on something.

Sure, this stick performs like a tank, but unlike other tanks, this one is light, crisp, and refined.  The sensitivity is surprisingly good for a rod at this price point, proving that you don’t have to drop $400 for sensitivity.  The action of the blank feels elegant and sophisticated.  This ain’t just another “pool cue”.

This combo feels great. Strong, light, nimble, yet powerful.

The 775 has a really good balance point for a rod this size. Since first buying it, I’ve paired it with an Abu Garcia Revo Premier and it feels great.

So, there you have it.  Go ahead and take the plunge.  You have my permission to buy this rod and go flippin’ crazy.  You won’t regret it.
