ICAST Truth Project
1) Several of the pros are a little upset at Boyd Duckett for the way he’s going around and advertising his Major League Fishing. They don’t feel it’s being done with all honesty and the way it’s marketed comes across as a little offensive to some of the outside the 24 that he chose.
2) The Alabama Rig came out looking like the weakest of all the Umbrella rigs. All of the competitors Andy Poss is trying to shut down with their paltry patent attempt left them in the dust with superior advancements and innovations.
In short, the Mann’s “Original” Crapabama rig lost big time when compared to other “bait school” type of rigs.
But Inventor Poss still showed up… probably boasting about how many local jackpots he’s won and predicting that his rig will forever live in infamy. I’m pretty sure that his Mann’s money is starting to run short. Stuff like that doesn’t last long after the government gets done with you. I’m also pretty sure that money wasn’t enough to last very long, otherwise he wouldn’t be spending his days like a pro staffer working the tables.
3) Also, look out for the new “C series” boat coming from Ranger. Wow. From what I hear there will be some MAJOR improvements in design for this 45th anniversary edition. I’m talking serious re-engineering. We’ll see. Does anyone know anything else about this?
4) Oh, and don’t forget about the Kyle Fox news I broke a few days ago… If it all goes down like I was told, do you think B.A.S.S. was a little harsh by suspending Fox so long?… all the way through next season?
