A longtime classic amongst Saltwater Anglers, the Rattlin' Chug Bug® was regarded for many years as the "do everything" Topwater lure---Spits, darts, chugs and walks-the-dog all depending on how you want to fish it. 

For those that want to keep that injured-baitfish presentation in the strike zone for a longer period of time (and potentially sealing the deal with a Trophy fish), we recommend using these Chug Bug Topwater lures with a slow "popping" retrieve.

Over the years we've found that swapping out the stock Treble Hooks with Single Inline Replacement Hooks not only helps protect us, but the fish as well! If you plan on changing out these hooks to Single Inline Replacements, we suggest going with the Mustad Kaiju Inline Single Hook in Size #2.
