Cashion Fishing Rods was founded in 2010 by Dr. Matthew Cashion who earned his Ph.D in chemistry with concentration in polymer science from Virginia Tech.

Dr. Cashion understands that a fishing rod’s strength and performance depends on how well the carbon fibers bond with the epoxy surrounding them. Through years of research, he developed a proprietary epoxy matrix that creates superior bonding of these carbon fibers while also improving the rods sensitivity and reducing its overall weight. 

Cashion Rod blanks are designed and manufactured here in the USA right in Sanford, NC. On top of that, Dr. Matthew Cashion is an Insider Member of our Club!

The Cashion ICON Inshore Casting Series was designed for the serious Inshore Angler in mind---lightweight, sensitive, and incredibly powerful. Luke has had great success using the 7'4"Medium Heavy 10-20lb. model catching Redfish & Snook around sharp bridge pilings & docks.

Shipping Details: 

There is a $30 flat rate shipping fee for any Cashion ICON Inshore Rod purchased (up to 3 Rods can be purchased within the same order). Any Rod can be combined with another Rod Brand as well (TFO, St. Croix, etc.). If more than 3 Rods are ordered, there will be an additional $30 flat rate shipping fee to accommodate an additional shipment.
