At Salt Strong, we’re so confident that our gear is the strongest on the market that we offer a 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you feel our gear can’t keep up with your saltiest of adventures, we offer free exchanges or a full refund.
1. Return Policy
Your purchase is protected by a 100% money-back guarantee for 30 days from the date of your original purchase.
- Condition: Items must be in "as-sold" condition to qualify. Reels must be in new condition and include all original manufacturing equipment in the box.
- Timeline: You have 30 days from the original purchase date to request a refund. Requests received after this limit will not be recognized.
- Processing: Once the item is received, the refund process takes no more than 30 days.
- Payment: Refunds are issued to the original credit card.
- Note: Salt Strong reserves the right to refuse returns if the product has been used or if the purchaser has a history of multiple returns.
2. Exchange Policy
If you would prefer to swap your gear, you may request an exchange within 30 days of purchase.
- Condition: Merchandise must be in new/unused condition.
- Availability: If the specific gear is no longer available, you will receive credit toward another Salt Strong product up to the base cost of your original purchase.
- Process: Once your item is received, we will provide a list of available options to complete your exchange.
3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Notify Support: You must contact us via our online support form, email (shop@saltstrong.com), or phone (855-888-6494) within 30 days of purchase.
- Receive Directions: Once your request is processed, we will provide directions on where to send your item.
- Email Details: When emailing, please include your order number and let us know your preferred outcome. We respond to most inquiries within one business day.
4. Defective Merchandise
Any product considered defective or damaged must be returned directly to the respective manufacturer through their listed Return Policy. If you feel a broken product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, please contact them directly for service. Our team is happy to assist you with any questions during this process.
5. Freight Claims (Shipping Damage)
If your products were damaged during shipping, you must file a damage claim with the shipping agent (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) within 5 days.
- Once the claim is filed and proof is submitted to Salt Strong, we will forward a return label to recover the product.
- Once the shipping label is scanned and en route to us, we will send replacements out immediately.
