Normally I use Gulp shrimp when looking for Redfish in the winter, this trip I went with a Slam Shady Tweaker and Dr. Juice. I am a very happy fisherman, 2nd cast I hooked and landed a nice 30” Red. Fishing conditions were not the best with a strike score of 4.8 but I still managed 4 over the slot and 1 slot Redfish using the two strategies I gave in the tips section. 1 of the schooling fish I caught hit the Tweaker as soon as it touched the water. I found the Tweaker to cast farther and hit the water with less disturbance than the Gulp Shrimp I usually use. I am sold and I look forward to targeting Speckled Trout with the Tweaker when the water warms some this spring.

Pink was the color for me! Those new Tweaker baits have great action and trigger bites when others seem to fail or leave the fish short striking. These fish absolutely inhaled the bait and I even remember a 12” trout taking it tail end all the way down. Soo…Get you some! -

I don't usually find the reds, but today was different, scored these two just short on the Tweaker with the gold sparkle, see the close up. I like this lure a lot. First time I put it on the previous day had a snook hit it. I was making more accurate cast with it for some reason. And it turned me into a skip master from a skip wannabe. Super lure guys
