Continuing its bloodline of being the most durable saltwater low-profile baitcasting platform, the NEW Concept TX Gen II is ready for the harshest environment you can throw at it.
The Concept TX Gen II incorporates a proprietary space-age polymer CZB Comp ("Next Level" Concept Zero Bearing) in lieu of traditional ball bearings. These composite bearings are a Game Changer: providing unparalleled smoothness & the same high-quality performance you would expect from specialty ball bearings. Typical ball bearings have extreme performance loss over time due to exposure to the elements (debris, mineral deposits, corrosion, etc.)...but the CZB does not experience this. The bearings included in this reel are 100% corrosion-proof and will maintain high-level performance day after day.
The improved CZB Comp bearings included in this series of casting reel is precision cut to reduce contact area with the spool shaft, which in turn creates higher spool spin capabilities.
All CZB and CZB Comp bearings are American designed, American Engineered, and proudly manufactured in the USA.
