These Plain Shank Hooks come 10 per pack (8 per pack for Size 1/0) and are slightly offset from center, allowing for a better hook-up ratio at strike.
Sizing Recommendations:
The best hook size to use is always based on the size of the bait that you'll be using. For shrimp, here's how we determine which one to go with:
- Size 2 = small shrimp (under 3 inches long)
- Size 1 = average sized shrimp (3 to 4.5 inches long)
- Size 1/0 = big shrimp (over 4.5 inches long)
Note: For the ultimate weedless rigging, we recommend using bullet weights since they will not get stuck on the bottom.
