This unique popping cork was created by a commercial fishermen who used them to make a living catching saltwater fish.
What he found was that using heavy mono for the cork allows them to last longer than most wire corks. And an added bonus is that they are much easier to store in a tackle tray since they don't have a stiff wire that takes up a lot of space.

History:
We ran a multiple beta test rounds with this popping cork in 2023 and 2024 to make sure that it was ready for production. Once it passed the tests with flying colors, we went into full production in 2025 through early 2026.
During that time, we received some feedback that it would be better if it had more weight so even very light lures and freelined shrimp can work great with it too. So we made some upgrades in 2026 to make this great popping cork even better than before. This latest version is Made in China so that the materials can be upgraded without any increase in cost.
